Porcelain treasures

Firing was a success even though kiln is misbehaving.
The not so good look as I was glazing with my chinese glaze sprayer was well worth it. I really like this way of spray glazing (for small amount of work) as I have so much control over the glaze application. The caricature mugs are a bit of fun, the small bowls fit into my black boxes, and the new tall dragon vase is ready for my next exhibition (wherever that might be!).

Your mugs made me smile :^)
I have one of those glaze sprayers but haven't been game to use it! any clues gladly taken before I pull it out of the cupboard..
some nice pendants on the way and the vase looks great too.

Those are great sprayers. I attached a length of hose to the mouth piece, this way I can get the sprayer near the pot and my face away from the glaze.

Great idea Lori - I have a few concerns about my mouth being so close to the glaze and that would solve it. I'm now going to find some hose...

I like Lori's suggestion - I'm thinking the clear hose used on fishtanks might be the go...

Yes I have somewhere. Hmm where did I hide it.
