Here is the recipe: Soda feld 31, Silica 21, 4108 5, G borate 10, Kaolin 17, whiting 13, Talc 3. I have added oxides too - it's a well behaved cone 5-6 glaze. The decals are fired to about 1000deg C. Good luck - look forward to seeing your results. I loved your nests. I have put decals on bisqued ware (hard to make them stick) and they were good too. I put decals over Walkers Earthenware Glaze WEG and it seems to work at 1060. I put them on unglazed but polished porcelain too at a higher temperature. Your look brilliant. Not good if you are looking for textured glazes, but fantastic for functional and well fitting glazes. Most glazes work for me with Australian materials too.Ellen Applebyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15334395722887967654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3587886503734534834.post-38416509576203986752012-09-06T22:05:52.555+10:002012-09-06T22:05:52.555+10:00Ah, Mastering Cone 6 Glazes!
